Official statistics issued by the Security Magazine of the Ministry of Interior revealed that the total number of electronic reports submitted through the “My Government” application reached 2,963 reports since its launch in February until the end of last August, distributed among a number of security and service departments affiliated with the Ministry.
According to the report, the security directorates received the largest share of reports, with 1,559 reports, followed by the Department of Combating Economic Crimes with 768 reports, while the reports received by the Department of Electronic Crimes amounted to 528 reports, and the Department of Combating Corruption Crimes received 41 reports, while the Department of Research and Follow-up – Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs received 10 reports, and the Child Protection Unit in Cyberspace received 57 reports.
The report indicated that the overall satisfaction index with the service reached 94%, while 1,560 electronic requests were registered to complete procedures and add attachments to electronic reports.
While official statistics revealed that the Civil Defense initiated 1,275 reports during August, distributed among 639 assistance reports, 228 fire reports, 85 traffic accidents, and 21 falls (from trees, poles, or signs), in addition to 302 other miscellaneous reports.
On the other hand, the National Ambulance Service received 5,143 reports, topped by health ailments with 3,797 reports, followed by transfers from private hospitals and health centers to emergencies with 575 reports, 324 traffic accidents, and 396 miscellaneous accidents, in addition to 51 fire reports that the specialized teams dealt with.
The operations room statistics for the month of August 2025 showed that the total number of rescue sessions amounted to 2,454 reports, distributed among response issues at a rate of 68%, and traffic issues at a rate of 28%, while security issues amounted to 4% of the total reports.
As for the Coast Guard Command, it dealt with 102 reports related to maritime accidents and rescues, which included 54 search and rescue operations and the disruption of ships, 41 cases of providing assistance, and 7 various maritime accidents.
