A large rationing campaign in Qalyubia was able to seize an estimated quantity of (2 tons) of liquid soap of unknown origin inside one of the commercial activities in the Shebin al-Qanater Administration Department.
This came during a campaign headed by the Shebin Al-Qanater Supply Department, where the campaign included visits to a number of bakeries, stove depots, and commercial activities within the administration’s scope.
The campaign’s efforts resulted in the issuance of 13 various food fines, including:
(Failure to announce prices – closure during official working hours without prior permission – production of underweight bread – lack of clean kneading tools – slaughtering outside the slaughterhouse – lack of a health certificate for workers).
An amount of two tons of liquid soap of unknown origin was also seized, in addition to one and a half kilograms of meat slaughtered outside the slaughterhouse, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the violators.
The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Qalyubia confirmed the continuation of its intensive campaigns around the clock in all centers and cities of the governorate to control markets and firmly address any violations that affect the health and safety of citizens, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership and the Ministry of Supply.
