Dr. Mohamed Badran, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Alexandria, announced that the total health services provided in the framework of the national campaign is 100 days, health is 5 million, 587 thousand and 297 preventive, treatment and awareness services.
Details of the medical services provided to the people of Alexandria
During which 4 million and 205 thousand and 877 preventive services were provided, including vaccination services, environmental health and food services, and all services provided in primary care units, as well as public health initiatives services, including women’s health and early detection of chronic diseases, kidney disorder and cancerous tumors (colon-lung-prostate-cervix).
The total treatment services provided in the hospitals of the Health Affairs Directorate amounted to one million and 164 thousand and 640 services that include outpatient detection, disbursement of treatment, surgeries, dialysis sessions, emergency services and all services provided in hospitals.
While the awareness services provided through health education teams in health facilities and external teams spread in the gatherings in the governorate reached 309 thousand 226 services provided to all age groups of children, youth, men and women.
This comes in light of the follow -up of General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, the campaign indicators to determine the number of beneficiaries of the campaign in the governorate, explaining that Alexandria has succeeded in providing more than 5 million free health services to its people, within 60 days since the start of the initiative.
