Wadi Al -Helou Council held its first meeting, after the issuance of the Emiri Decree to be formed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, headed by Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Council. The meeting witnessed the attendance of Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, member of the Executive Council, Head of the Department of Suburbs Affairs, Khamis bin Saeed Al Mazrouei, Wadi El Helou, Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Al -Kabouri, Director of the Department, and members of the Council who started their work according to the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, for the suburban councils, because it is a platform to enhance community participation and adopt the initiatives that serve the people.
