Assiut University, affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced its need to occupy the job of a resident dentist through loan for a period of renewable one year from three years to five years, according to the conditions mentioned in Ministerial Resolution No. (397) for the year 2024, provided that the deadline for submission is on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, and in this report we explain to you the conditions for applying for these jobs, the necessary documents for application, as well as the application.
Vacancies at Assiut University
Assiut University announced through the government jobs portal that the employment door has opened for 11 dentists residing by loan for a period of one year renewable from three years to five years, according to the Civil Service Law No. 81 of 2016, provided that the conditions of the job are met, and it is not allowed to apply for these jobs for those previously nominated in the job of a resident dentist or a teaching assistant at the University’s College of Medicine.
Conditions for dentist function at Assiut University
As for the conditions that should be fulfilled in the applicants, the University of Assiut clarified as follows:
- He must have at least a very good general estimate in both general appreciation, and his appreciation in the specialization subject is not less than a very good estimate, so if there are no applicants who obtained this estimate in the specialization subject, it is permissible to nominate one of those with a good estimate in it.
- That he has spent the training concession and obtained a certificate of completion of compulsory training from the Hospital of Dentistry, Assiut University, and that no penalties for the etiquette and honor of the profession were not signed during the training period.
- Not to have been nominated in the job of a resident doctor in another specialization or he has previously occupied the job of a resident dentist at the Dental Hospital in the announced specialization or in another specialization or a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Dentistry in a previous advertisement and did not receive his job or abdication, and that he had not previously been appointed as a resident doctor or a teaching assistant or resigned from it.
- Doctors undertake when applying for the job of a resident doctor with a specialty of anesthesia and diagnostic radiology to work in these specialties despite their knowledge of the damage that may cause anesthesia or exposure to radiation to pregnant women.
- Dentists should apply to their applications through the entities assigned to them, with their explicit approval, and that the applicant is a graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry at Assiut University.
Basic skills
Contrary to the conditions necessary for submission, there are some basic skills in the advertisement and must be taken into account in the applicants where the tasks they perform as follows:
- Participate in the completion of dental works in the departments and clinics of the Dental Hospital in the Education Department.
- Participate in the signing of the medical examination of the hesitants on the internal departments and clinics at the Dentistry Hospital and the necessary treatment report.
- Putting the required medications and medical supplies required in the departments of the Dental Hospital, and making the necessary rays on the jaw and teeth in the departments of the Dental Hospital, performing surgeries in jaw in cases of Al -Kharraj, fatty bags, tumors, buried molars, etc.
- Participate in the works of dislocation of the molar and the damaged teeth of the frequencies in the hospital and clinics departments, and to participate in following up the cases of fractures of jaw in accordance with the capabilities of the dental hospital departments.
- Make of industrial teeth garages and fixtures, perform orthodontics and simple cosmetic jaw surgeries, report the drugs needed for hesitants on hospital departments, and training technicians working in dental laboratories.
The required papers and the application method
For those wishing to apply for the jobs of a resident dentist at Assiut University, the required papers will be prepared and applications will be submitted in the name of Mrs. Dr. Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry on the form prepared for that by the Department of Doctors ’Affairs at the University’s Dental Hospital, and the necessary documents fall in:
- A copy of the graduation certificate.
