In the past, human societies witnessed patterns of simple and transparent coexistence, as hearts were pure and souls are more satisfied. Joy was met with sincere congratulations, and sadness faced sympathy and support, and success was appreciated and encouraged, not envy or excessive scrutiny. The one who possessed the determination and persistence rose to the peaks with merit, based on a collective conviction that every mujtahid has a share.
– However, the scene has changed today radically, as many individuals live under what can be called “the human microscope”, where their private lives are with its subtle details. The microscope, which was originally created to enlarge the exact parts in the service of science and knowledge, turns into a symbolic tool that some use to amplify the lapses of others and open their lives in public, instead of being a means of self -development or society.
Historical experiences have proven that the lack of capabilities were not an obstacle to creativity, as explorers and scientists have immortalized achievements that humanity still reaps its fruits to this day. In our time, and with the abundance of tools and technologies, we find that excessive monitoring and continuous scrutiny in the lives of others impedes the path of creativity, and limits the emergence of innovative minds. Thus, the “human microscope” has become one of the most prominent obstacles to progress.
– The seriousness of this phenomenon lies in devoting the spirit of negative competition, as others fail to heal a healing material instead of being a motivation for learning and development. And whoever drops others under his microscope does not seek the truth, but rather searches for gaps that contribute to weakening the successful and undermining their position. Thus, distinguished individuals are not only lost, but society loses the opportunity to benefit from their energies and contributions.
– Facing these silent wars is only by ignoring and moving forward with confidence and steadfastness, with belief that success is a responsibility that must be protected, not a crime that requires prosecution. And societies that move away from the culture of scrutiny in the affairs of others, and adopt a culture of motivation and praise, are the ones that guarantee the construction of generations capable of creativity and development. As for the human microscope, it will only be a reflection of the failure of its companions, in front of a real determination that makes the future and builds a more balanced and successful society.
