The Emirates Red Crescent Authority intensified its humanitarian response to support those affected by the overwhelming floods that swept a number of regions and governorates in the Philippines recently; It provided urgent assistance that included basic foodstuffs, healthy parcels, shelters, pure drinking water, and personal hygiene products, along with other necessary needs. More than 18,000 people in the Soxijin region on the island of Mindnaw, and the governorates of Sultan Kodrat and South Kotaboo, contributed to alleviating the repercussions of the crisis and meeting the urgent needs of the most affected families.
