Training nursing cadres for Japan to train on the latest methods of nursing management

The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 6 nursing specialists will be dispatched to Saco University in Japan to participate in a training program specialized in nursing management.

This comes within the Egyptian Japanese Initiative for Education and Human Development, and in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, to invest in nursing cadres and qualify them through international programs.

The Egyptian delegation, which includes specialists from the General Administration of Nursing and the new administrative capital hospitals, represents the central sunrise, and Beni Suef Specialist, a step to enhance the administrative and technical capabilities of nursing, and the transfer of international best practices to improve the quality of health services in Egypt.

Dr. Hanadi Mohamed, head of the medical profession development sector, confirmed that the participants were chosen according to accurate criteria to ensure a supervising representation of the nursing sector.

Dr. Nevin Mohamed, Head of the General Department of Nursing, pointed out the importance of the program in building nursing leaders who are able to keep pace with global developments.

In turn, Dr. Israa Abu Zaid, Director of Training Centers, explained that cooperation with Japan reflects the Ministry’s commitment to activating international partnerships to support vocational training.

The opening of the program witnessed welcoming words from the University of Saco and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which confirmed the depth of relations between Egypt and Japan.

One of the trainees also expressed the delegation’s thanks for the opportunity, stressing their keenness to make the most of the training and transfer of experiences to their colleagues.
