Dakahlia Drinking Water and Sewerage Company announced the interruption of drinking water in a number of areas and city of Talkha today, Monday, September 8, 2025, for a period of 5 hours, from 11 pm until four at dawn on Tuesday.

The company explained that the interruption includes the villages of Talkha (Mitt Antar – Shergash – Al -Tawila – Kafr El -Tawila), in addition to some areas of Talkha (Umm Kulthum Street – Taksim Bahaa – Great Sea Street – Security Forces camp), and this comes within the framework of the work of the National Railways Authority for the opening of the Nile Bridge in Mansoura.
The company appealed to citizens, government departments, local units, hospitals and bakeries to manage their drinking water needs during the interruption period.
