The Shebin El -Koum Criminal Court, held at the Wadi Al -Natroun Courts Complex, postponed today, Saturday, the trial session of 3 persons accused of killing a couple inside their house in the village of Delmo of the Ashmoun Center in Menoufia Governorate, to the next Wednesday session, to summon and discuss the pathologist.
The court’s decision to postpone came in response to the defendant’s defense request, to discuss the pathologist in some technical matters regarding the anatomical report, in preparation for the completion of the case.
Case details
The details of the incident date back to last December, when the security forces found the bodies of two couples killed inside their house in the project area in the village of Delmo, where investigations revealed that the defendants stormed the house for the purpose of theft, and after they failed to find the money, they assaulted the couple using a sharp machine until the difference of life.
The investigations also showed that the crime was committed out of the seizure of a sum of 450,000 pounds, which was in the possession of the victim, the outcome of the resale of a car, while the security services managed to arrest the defendants who confessed in detail to commit the crime, and they represented it in front of the investigation authorities.
In previous sessions, the court issued a ruling to execute the accused and refer their papers to the Mufti, provided that the court would complete the consideration of the case in the next sessions until it was decided.
