The security services in the Lake Security Directorate had managed to liberate a child who kidnapped him from the school, and asked for one million pounds as a mother from a mother, after a few hours of kidnapping, and the accused were arrested, and the necessary report was released.
The events of the incident return when the security services in the Lake Security Directorate received a notification from the investigation officers of the Delingat Police Station, stating that Rami Abu Bakr Moftah, 49 years old, an agricultural worker, and the resident of Umm al -Laban village of the same center, had been released, a report stating that his son was absent, and after his absence he received a phone call from an unknown requesting an amount of one million pounds in exchange for the release of the child.
Immediately, a research team was formed from the Criminal Investigation Department at the Lake Security Directorate, in order to quickly uncover the mystery of the incident, retrieve the child and arrest the perpetrators of the incident.
On the examination, it was found that behind the incident, “Islam Sh, C, unemployed, and Awad M.A., residing in the area of Atfih Center in Giza Governorate, and Ibrahim S., resident of the village of Umm Al -Laban, which is affiliated with the Delingat Center.
After the permission of the investigation authorities and the codification of the procedures, the research team was able to locate the child and accompanied by the accused in one of the apartments in Sadat City, and in coordination between the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Lake Security Directorate, and the officers of the Menoufia Governorate, the accused were arrested, and the child was released.
Facing the defendants, they confessed to their knowledge of his father’s possession of a large amount of money, so they decided to kidnap his son and asked for a ransom, and on that they waited in front of the child’s school, and they kidnapped him from the school on the pretext of giving him some money to deliver it to his father.
