Diplomatic sources revealed to the French News Agency that the UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting after the Israeli attack on Doha, which targeted Hamas leaders.

The sources claimed to the French News Agency that the meeting will be held today at ten in the evening, explaining that the invitation to hold the meeting was presented from Algeria and Pakistan.
Algeria asked the Security Council to hold a meeting today, Wednesday, to discuss the Israeli attack on Hamas leaders in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Tuesday, according to Reuters.
Earlier, a diplomatic source said in press statements that Algeria – the Arab member of the Security Council – requested a meeting of the council after the Israeli attack that targeted Doha, noting that the Algerian move came at the request of Qatar.
In a related context, the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level expressed its strong condemnation of the brutal Israeli bombardment on the Qatari capital, Doha, as a serious violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and a blatant attack on the sovereignty and security of the State of Qatar.
