The UAE signed the announcement of the protection of humanitarian workers, during a high effectiveness held in New York, before the start of the eighties of the United Nations General Assembly. Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development and International Organizations, participated in the signing of the advertisement, in a move confirming the UAE’s firm commitment to international humanitarian law, including the duty to respect and protect humanitarian workers, and ensure the delivery of aid to the needy, safe, and without obstacles.
