The UAE has expressed its solidarity with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in the incidents of a boat burning and another drowning in the Congo River, in the northern Democratic Republic of the Congo, killing, wounding and losing dozens of people. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, to the Democratic government of the Congo and its friendly people in these two painful incidents, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured.
