Deny Sudanese Ministry of MineralsThe validity of what was circulated regarding its signing an investment agreement with Deep Metals Mining Company of the Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al -Jarhi with a value of more than 277 million dollars and 85% to acquire the Archidia Gold Mine in Sudan, as well as the establishment of a waste treatment factory and a refinery of gold, stressing that the news is completely naked from health, and no agreement or memorandum of understanding has been signed with the mentioned company until the date of the issuance of the statement.

The ministry said in an official statement issued today, that Deep Metals, like other companies, expressed its desire to invest in the mining sector, but no contract or legal commitment was concluded with it, and also stressed that investing in Sudan is subject to clear foundations and criteria that guarantee justice and transparency without favoritism.
The Ministry affirmed the stability of the situation in 14 states in Sudan, where an encouraging environment is available to invest in various fields, especially the mining sector, noting that the government welcomes all investors from friendly countries, and in particular Egyptian investors, in light of the close cooperation relations between the two countries.
The Ministry indicated that there is coordination with the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to reduce smuggling and unorganized activity in the mining sector, to serve the interests of the two peoples.
The Ministry also accused some of the bodies of trying to broadcast false information aimed at disturbing the state’s efforts to attract investments, and called on those who claim to sign the agreement with Deep Metals to provide his evidence for the competent judicial authorities.
At the conclusion of the statement, the Ministry of Minerals called on the media to investigate accuracy and extract information from its official sources, confirming its commitment to transparency and its openness to the media to clarify the facts.
