The event is held in a Cairo hotel, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education, a number of ministry leaders, UNICEF representatives and international development partners, in addition to a group of educators and experts in the field of education development.
The event is witnessing a review of what was achieved in the first stage of the program, which was implemented during the last academic year, which aimed to enhance the basic linguistic skills of primary school students. The celebration also includes announcing the plan to generalize the second stage on a wider scale of schools, while providing technical support to teachers and providing modern evaluation tools, which contributes to improving learning outcomes systematically and sustainable.
The Ministry stressed that the program represents one of the main axes for the development of basic education in Egypt, and that the partnership with UNICEF reflects the state’s commitment to improving the quality of education, empowering teachers, and creating a stimulating educational environment that is in line with the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s 2030 vision.
