The Saudi National Day is a great national occasion in which the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia evoke the march of monotheism led by the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, “may God have mercy on him” when he united the country under one banner (there is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God), declaring the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1351 AH-1932 AD. This anniversary is not only a political event, but it is a turning point in history, as it established a strong, rooted state with an active presence in its Gulf, Arab and Islamic surroundings.

Since the dawn of the foundation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was not in isolation from its Gulf neighborhood, but rather was linked to the ties of blood and destiny with its sisters in the Gulf Cooperation Council, and in their introduction, the Kingdom of Bahrain, where (Saudi Bahraini relations) formed a solid model for fraternity, cohesion and strength, where the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain are linked to strong and deep historical ties whose roots date back before the establishment of the third Saudi state. The unity of religion, language and social customs formed a solid bridge for communication between the two peoples, while family and tribal relations and the bonds of kinship between the sons of the two kingdoms have strengthened. After announcing the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain found in this Saudi entity a great power in the Arabian Peninsula, and a strategic support shared by the same aspirations. The subsequent contracts witnessed a close political, economic and security cooperation, reflected in the common positions of regional and international organizations, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always represented for Bahrain a strategic and civilized depth. When political and security challenges, Saudi Arabia was standing next to the Kingdom of Bahrain, which was clearly evident in its positions in support of its stability and sovereignty. On the other hand, the Kingdom of Bahrain was always present alongside its sister, Saudi Arabia, to establish the concept that the two countries never separate in good and bad times.

The relationship between the two countries was not limited to the political side, but rather extended to the fields of economics, culture and education. The King Fahd Bridge, may God have mercy on him, which was opened in 1986, is a living symbol of the strength of these ties, as it summarized the distances, and made communication between the social and economic countries easier, strengthening the social, commercial and tourism relations between them

When the Saudis celebrate their national day, the Bahrainis share their joy in a sincere spirit, they also consider them suitable. This interdependence reflects the depth of ties and the unity of destiny, as the Saudi National Day has become a Gulf occasion that reminds everyone that the unity of the class and solidarity is the basis of the power of the region. Just as the founding king, King Abdulaziz, “may God have mercy on him,” unified the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under one banner, today the Kingdom unites the positions and efforts with its Gulf brothers to remain the region safe and prosperous, and to keep the Saudi Bahraini cohesion an example to be followed in international relations.
