The death toll from the huge fire that broke out inside a factories in the industrial zone in the city of Mahalla Al -Kubra, Gharbia Governorate, increased to the death of 5 people and the injury of 25 others, according to the latest statements of the official authorities.

The fire broke out inside the factory suddenly, which led to the collapse of large parts of the building, and it was difficult for the efforts of the civil protection men to control the fire and save the workers. The injured were taken to hospitals to receive the necessary aid, while the rescue teams are searching for any people detained between the rubble.
Immediately after the outbreak of the fire, the Civil Protection Forces in Western and Security moved to the location of the incident, and imposed a security cordon around the factory, while the Public Prosecution intensified the investigation to find out the reasons for the outbreak of the fire and limit the material losses.
