The video also reviewed the position of preparing the area and supporting it with the capabilities necessary to attract investments, as the first phase of the industrial zone was implemented on an area of about 4 km2, until it was ready in July 2024, and the processing work includes the implementation of the soil improvement work to launch both the internal road network, and the facilities stations sites, such as water filtering, electricity, treatment and lifting of sewage, as well as the work improvement work for the area allocated to projects in the first stage, where they have been done The completion of the implementation of 981 thousand square meters of the total area allocated to projects, in addition to the implementation of the advanced infrastructure that serves industrial projects, in this regard has been implemented by an electricity transformer with a capacity of 20 megawatts, and a transformer station is being established with a capacity of 500 megawatts, and a sewage treatment plant has been implemented with a capacity of 60 thousand m3 days, as well M3 days, in addition to the implementation of the gas pressure pressure station with a capacity of 40 thousand m3 hours, and the plan to establish an additional station with a capacity of 160 thousand m3 hours, in addition to implementing the water socket with a capacity of 35 thousand m3 days, and another socket is being established with a capacity of 35 thousand m3 days, in addition to the implementation of a drinking water purification plant with a capacity of 35 thousand m3 days, and the second stage is being established with a capacity of 35 thousand m3 days.
The video also touched on the position of investments in the industrial zone in Qantara, west Poultry, packaging, and food industries, and the region is 40 projects that provide about 55.6 thousand jobs, and the area of contracted projects is about 2.47 million square meters.
At the same time, it was noted that the last period witnessed the basis of the Chinese Hangchng project project for textiles in July 2024, and laid the cornerstone of the Turkish Argolo Garminte project for ready -made clothes in August 2024, which are opened today, in addition to laying the cornerstone 2024, as well as laying the cornerstone of the Chinese Di Setta project for ready -made clothes in March 2025, and laying the foundation stone for the Thai Hi Tech Clothes in April 2025.

During his speech, Chen Songfvvy, Chairman of the Chinese Hong Shang, expressed his appreciation for the honor of the Prime Minister, as well as the head of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone on the great support that the authority granted to the company; Which contributed to this project to see the light within 14 months, which represents the first stage, and it is scheduled to end the implementation of the second stage by the end of next year 2026.
Chen Songfu stressed that today’s event represents the official opening of the Hinj Shang Egypt Technology Technology, which is a milestone in the company’s international strategy, and at the same time, a milestone in the history of industrial cooperation between Egypt and China, in an effort to achieve the joint benefit of the two parties, pointing out that the company’s choice of Egypt came based on its promising ingredients, as a distinct location between three continents, and the great support the Egyptian government provides Foreign, and the highly competitive international agreements that Egypt has, and abundant human resources.
He pointed out that the volume of full investments for this project amounts to more than 50 million dollars, and after its opening, the project contributes to the provision of about 2500 job opportunities for Egyptian workers, expressing his confidence that by relying on the support of the Egyptian state and the management of the company that relies on advanced technology is environmentally friendly; The company will be able to provide high -quality products that improve the productive product in Egypt, and contribute to achieving the aspirations and vision of Egypt 2030.
In turn, Noureddine Uruglo, Chairman of the Turkish Orglo Company, welcomed the attendees, and indicated during his speech that the Uruglo International Foundation, which was established in 1983, started its career in the textile industry and then expanded in other fields, pointing out that the company started its investments in Egypt in Ismailia in 2007, then in Damietta in 2011, and today the company returns to Ismailia with its third and fourth investments, where the number of employees increased in the company in Egypt From 2500 employees to 10,000 employees, and its investments increased from 150 million dollars to 450 million dollars, and the company’s sales volume increased from 150 million dollars to 350 million dollars.
Noureddine Uruglo stressed that this investment does not represent merely the opening of a new factory, but rather a firm symbol of friendship and economic cooperation between Egypt and Turkey, as he expressed his gratitude to the work team, which contributed to his sincere efforts to complete this project.
On the other hand, Eng. Wael Ahmed Jawid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Modern Natural Gas Company, reviewed the project to reduce natural gas pressure in Al -Qantara, West Industrial Region of the General Authority of the Economic Zone of the Suez Canal, which begins working within the infrastructure equipment in the region.
Engineer Wael Ahmed Jawid explained that the design capacity of the station is 40,000 cubic meters per hour, and it was created on an area of 1,616 square meters, at a total cost of 250 million pounds for the pressure reduction station, civil and electromechanical works for the station’s buildings, where the station includes a number of basic components that include: the pressure reduction station, the administrative building, the electricity room, the fire tank, and the security rooms.
He added that it is planned to implement another gas pressure pressure station with a design capacity of 160 thousand cubic meters per hour per day, to accommodate future expansions, as part of the strategy of the General Authority for the Economic Zone of the Suez Canal to equip its industrial areas with an integrated infrastructure according to the highest standards.
In this regard, Walid Jamal Al -Din, Chairman of the General Authority of the Economic Zone of the Suez Canal, stressed that the gas reduction station represents a pivotal element in the plan to complete the basic facilities in the industrial zone, allowing the operation of various projects with high efficiency, and reflects the commitment of the authority to provide an integrated business environment that combines advanced infrastructure, logistical services and competitive energy prices, which enhances investor confidence and puts the west of the bridge on the map of destinations The most distinguished industrial thanks to the competitiveness of the cost of manufacturing.
