The people of Complex 244 in Arad complained about the daily inconvenience caused by the work of the running excavations in the roads of 4403 and 4402, to install water and sanitation drains, noting that the project was long, and caused the closure of the roads leading to their homes and deposits, as well as starting work in the early hours of the morning and holidays.
They confirmed their annoyance with the voices of heavy machines that start their work from five in the morning, causing special suffering for the elderly and children in the region, along with citizens who need to rest before they go to their work.
The residents explained that the responsible contractor does not commit to returning the situation as it was after the completion of the excavation work, as the dust and materials are left inappropriately in front of the houses, which leads to the spread of dust and disrupting the daily movement of the population.
The people stressed that the project started since last Ramadan, and is still going on until now, despite their repeated demands that it be accelerated in its completion and alleviating the daily inconvenience, explaining that the project engineer informed them of his official permit to work in early hours and even during the holidays.
For his part, the municipal member of the seventh district, Ahmed Al -Muqawi, explained that he met with the road engineer to discuss the matter, indicating that the urgency was requested to end the project.
Al -Muqawi stressed that the project is in its last stages, noting that the work will end during the next week by filling the excavations with sand and facilitating traffic, while the road will be paved at a later stage for technical considerations related to the workflow.
