Yesterday, the activities of an intense workshop on “preparing policies and regulations related to the issuance of public and private fatwas” held by the Emirates Sharia Fatwa Council, headed by the scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Bey, the President of the Council, and the presence of Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Dari, Vice -President of the Council, and members of the Council. During the workshop, the participants discussed a number of policies and organizational regulations that the Council is working on developing in implementation of Federal Law No. 3 of 2024, regarding the council, which made the only authority specialized in issuing public fatwas in the state and the regulator of the private fatwa.
