Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Jumaa, Minister of Education, praised the care and concern for the educational march in the Kingdom of Bahrain from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and from support and follow -up from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, which contributed to enhancing technology employment in education and enabling teachers and students to benefit from digital tools in a way that contributes to improvement Educational outputs, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to consolidate digital culture and adopt an approach in government and private schools to keep pace with global developments in this field.
This came on the occasion of the global achievement achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain with the obtaining of the Ministry of Education in the first place globally in Microsoft Technology Schools, in the 2025 course of the Technology incubating school program organized by the company with the participation of schools from different countries of the world.
125 government schools and 5 private schools from the Kingdom of Bahrain, with a total of 130 schools, managed to obtain the title of technology incubating schools from Microsoft International, in competitions that included 954 schools from 60 countries around the world, to record the Kingdom of Bahrain the highest global number in the number of schools that have classified.
The Minister praised the efforts of all the teams working in the educational field and the specialized sectors in the ministry that doubled the work to achieve this result, which enabled the ministry to advance from the third place globally in the past year 2024, to hold the first position globally in the current year.
