At the beginning of the meeting, Antonio Tajani welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Industry and Trade, praising the constructive results of the official visit by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, to the Italian Republic, and the meeting he held with the State of Mrs. Georgia Miloni, Prime Minister.

The Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs pointed out the importance of this visit in expanding the horizons of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries, noting the signing of the cooperation partnership and strategic investments that would enhance bilateral cooperation relations and increase trade and investment exchange between the two countries, and to open cooperation opportunities in many vital areas of common concern, stressing Italy’s keenness to develop and develop its partnership with the Kingdom of Bahrain.

For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the importance of the official visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, to the Vatican present state and the Italian Republic, praising the good results that resulted in it and their positive return on the efforts of the two countries to enhance and develop the historical friendship that links them at all levels.

The Minister affirmed the pride of the Kingdom of Bahrain with its distinguished and documentary relations with Italy, noting that the visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, today to Rome, comes as a continuation of the vital path of relations between the two countries, praising the results of the meeting between His Highness, may God protect him and the state of Mrs. Georgia Meloni, the Italian Prime Minister, for what would establish bilateral partnership and open broad horizons for joint cooperation.

The Foreign Minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation and working together to achieve security, stability and prosperity in the region for the benefit of all its peoples, and to perpetuate the values ​​of peace, tolerance, human coexistence and cultural convergence between all religions, beliefs and cultures.

During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation, ways to develop and develop them in various fields of common concern, including political, economic, investment, tourism, cultural and scientific cooperation, were discussed, and the two ministers stressed the importance of implementing the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries, in a way that serves the mutual interests of the two countries, and continues to consult and coordinate joint in international forums.

The two sides also discussed the developments of the regional situation and their repercussions on regional security and stability, the efforts made to find peaceful solutions to regional conflicts and achieve security, stability and peace in the region, foremost of which is reaching a permanent agreement to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, release the hostages and detainees, and deliver humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip, and to pay the efforts to bring peace to a fair and permanent peace in the Middle East region to reach to up The two -state solution.
