Beirut-Nawaf Salam, the Lebanese Prime Minister, received today in Beirut, Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Jarwan, Chairman of the World Council for Tolerance and Peace. During the meeting, ways of cooperation and joint work between the two sides were discussed in the areas of promoting the values of tolerance and peace, where the Lebanese Prime Minister’s state praised the active role played by the World Council for Tolerance and Peace and its efforts in spreading the culture of tolerance and promoting civilized dialogue between peoples, stressing the importance of continuing these efforts in light of the challenges facing the world in the field of international peace and security. For his part, Ahmed bin Muhammad Al -Jarwan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Lebanese government, appreciating the initiatives it provides to promote peaceful coexistence
