His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, received a gift from His Excellency President Vladimir Putin, President of the Friendly Republic of Russia, which is two hawks of rare Siberian falcons, which are from the (Jerefalon) hawks, in appreciation of the good and close relations that link His Majesty with his luxury and to enhance the bonds of Bahraini -Russian friendship.
This came during the reception of His Majesty at the Safariya Palace this day, His Excellency Mr. Alexei Skosirif, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Russia to the Kingdom, accompanied by Mr. Ivan Alexandrovica Kush, Head of the International Cooperation Affairs Department at the Ministry of Environment in Russia, and Mr. Shukrt Rosocov, director of the Falcons Center at Kamchatka in Russia, on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom, where His Majesty handed his gift to His Excellency the gift of the Russian President.
They also transferred to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of His Excellency the Russian President and his best wishes to the Kingdom of Bahrain for more growth and prosperity, while His Majesty informed them of conveying his greetings and best wishes for his luxury and the friendly people of Russia continued development and progress.
His Majesty, may God bless him, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin for this valuable gift and the role of his luxury in supporting historical relations and the development of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries, and stressed the depth of the close bilateral relations that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Russia and joint keenness to strengthen them and expand their horizons in all fields in order to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.
In turn, His Excellency the Russian Ambassador and the two Russian officials expressed their many thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for the good reception and generous hospitality.
