This came on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Arab company for building and repairing ships for its solar energy project, in cooperation with Kano Clean Max Renewable Energy.

God willing, the second stage will be completed during the next year.

He pointed out that “the first phase of the project will be completed within less than a year, and it will take place through two main partners, while the second stage will take almost the same period.”
The CEO pointed out that “the project preparation period took, especially commercially and the choice of the appropriate partner, a long time – about a year of hard and tireless work. Today, we are witnessing the inauguration of the project, and we soon look forward to celebrating its full achievement, God willing. ”
For his part, the Chairman of the Kano Industry and Energy Company, Ali Kano, stressed that “the partnership with” family “comes to reflect the great confidence in the capabilities of” Kano Clean Max “in the field of renewable energy.
This project is a prominent station that translates our commitment to developing advanced solar energy solutions that contribute to enabling the various industrial sectors to reduce emissions and rely on clean sources.
It also reflects our full support for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s vision of sustainability and its environmental and economic goals, because of us as a national company in our role as a responsible partner in the process of sustainable development ».
For his part, Omar Al -Enezi, head of technical development in “Asiri”, said: “
This project started about a year and a half ago, as we managed to raise production from 14 megawatts to 22.5 megawatts as a first stage, with plans to increase production in the second stage.
He added that «what distinguishes this project is the use of floating solar panels, which is the first of its kind in Bahrain, where it will be installed on the roofs of cars and buoys in the sea.
This innovation will enable us to use the available spaces effectively without losing any space from the company. ”
He explained that «the total area of the project reaches 35,000 square meters, which allows an innovative design that ensures the provision of shaded space and increased energy efficiency. We are enthusiastic about this project, and we look forward to achieving its goals in promoting energy sustainability in Bahrain.

As for the head of the equipment department, Fadel bin Shaaban, he indicated that “the project will contribute to reducing the cost of electricity consumption by $ 2 million annually.”
