The Egyptian Handball Federation, headed by Khaled Fathi, honored Ahmed Al -Ahmar, the star of the first handball team in Zamalek Club, in appreciation of being the most participating player in the World Handball Club Championship Super Globe.

The honor came before the start of the Zamalek match against Barcelona, in the competitions of the second round of the third group in the tournament, in a gesture confirming the union’s appreciation for the Al -Ahmar march full of achievements and records.
Ahmed Al -Ahmar is one of the most prominent Egyptian and Arab handball stars, and the owner of a tournament with the championships with Zamalek and the Egyptian team.
Today, Sunday, the third day competitions will be held in the World Handball Club Championship, in the eighteenth edition, which will be held with the participation of 9 clubs, from September 26 to October 2 of this year.
According to the championship system, the three group leaders qualify directly to the semi -finals, next to one team with the best second position.
It is worth noting that the victory of any Arab team in the last round guarantees it to qualify directly to the semi -finals, leading its group, and in the event that the Arab team tied and the other duo loss, the tie team qualifies as the best second position.
The tournament is witnessing the participation of a group of handball stars at the global level, led by Egypt’s stars with the Quarter Hungarian Fisbrim, Ali Zain, Yahya Al -Daraa, Ahmed Adel and Ahmed Hisham “Dudo”, and with Barcelona, the star of Egypt, Saif Al -Daraa.
