The Gulf Ministerial Council, which was held today in Kuwait, called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, stressed the protection of civilians, the introduction of assistance without obstacles, and the condemnation of the crimes of the Israeli occupation and the siege policy, praising the efforts of the Qatari, Egyptian and American mediation.
The “Gulf Ministerial”, after its meeting, stressed the implementation of the “two -state solution” and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, and welcomed the growing international recognitions of the State of Palestine.
The Gulf Ministerial Council stressed “the necessity of reaching an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, the release of the hostages and the detainees, the protection of the civilian population, and the facilitation of the delivery of humanitarian aid urgently and without interruption.” He condemned in the strongest terms, “the crime of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the residents of the Gaza Strip, and the deliberate siege policy that led to the cause of famine in the Gaza Strip, the policy of ethnic cleansing, collective punishment and the killing of civilians and journalists.”
The Council praised the success of the high-level international conference on the settlement of the Palestinian issue with peaceful solutions and the application of a “two-state solution” headed by (Saudi Arabia and France), which was held on July 28-30 (July 2025) at the United Nations headquarters, which affirmed support for all efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip, and to achieve a fair and sustainable settlement of the Palestinian issue through the implementation of the “two-state solution”, and the unification of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank under the umbrella of the Palestinian Authority, And ensuring stability and security for all countries in the region.
