Engineer Ayman Attia, the governor of Qaliubiya, held today a public meeting in the city of Al -Qanater Charitable, in the framework of a series of periodic meetings that he is keen to organize in various cities of the province, to listen to citizens’ complaints and demands and work to find quick solutions to them.
The meeting witnessed an intense presence of the people of Al -Qanater al -Khairiya, Shubra Al -Khaimah and Qalioub, as the issues raised between social, service and administrative varied.
The governor reviewed a number of requests and complaints, the most prominent of which was the provision of job opportunities for young men and women in the private sector, in addition to the demands of some widows and divorced women to obtain commercial stores to improve their living conditions, as the governor directed to study these cases and provide appropriate support for them, and he also discussed a request for an employee on transportation from the West Shubra Al -Khaimah neighborhood office to the Youth and Sports Directorate, according to the organized regulations.
The governor also discussed the problem of a citizen with the medical nationals that prevented him from obtaining a pension despite his suffering from chronic diseases, and promised to intervene to solve them, as well as a complaint with a number of teachers about a monthly incentive discount of their salaries, as he commissioned the governor to examine the issue and take what is necessary to ensure their rights.
In the service affairs, the governor directed to examine the decisions to close some gas warehouses in Qalioub and the possibility of postponing their closure in consideration of the interests of the citizens, and he also agreed to transfer two students between schools to facilitate their family conditions, one from the Mit Halfa School to Taha Noub School, and the other from the school of the martyr Muhammad Abd al -Latif Khafaji in Abu Al -Ghait to the Hassan Abu Bakr Al -Tijri School in Al -Qanatir Charitable.
The governor also listened to the complaints of some residents of Amara in Al -Qanatir al -Khairiya that their neighbors convert apartments into commercial stores in violation of the regulations, and directed to examine the papers, verify the legality of the situation and take the necessary measures.
The governor stressed that the mass meetings come within the framework of the state’s keenness to enhance bridges of confidence with citizens, and direct interaction with their needs, in order to achieve the speed of response and realistic solutions to their problems.
