ABU DHABI/The first round of political consultations between the UAE and the African Union Commission in Abu Dhabi was held, based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2019, and within the framework of joint keenness to enhance partnership and consolidate cooperation in various fields, in addition to the recent memorandum of understanding signed in July 2025 regarding the health partnership in the continent. The two sides agreed to move forward in achieving concrete results by intensifying technical coordination on issues of common concern, and holding regular political consultations to follow up on progress. In the context of recent developments in the region, the two sides expressed their full solidarity with the sisterly State of Qatar regarding the blatant attacks
