The end of the delivery of joint fellowship certificates for neurosurgery between Cairo and Jarasvald universities

The closing ceremony of the joint fellowship certificates in the field of endoscopy for neurosurgery, which witnessed the graduation of 11 doctors from Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Yemen, Iraq and Ethiopia, was held under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel -Sadiq, President of Cairo University, and the follow -up and supervision of Dr. Hossam Salah Murad, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Qasr Al -Aini and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals.

During his comment on the event, Dr. Hossam Salah Murad stressed that this partnership represents one of the bright models of international cooperation in the field of specialized medical education, stressing that the Al -Aini Palace remains committed to his mission in preparing doctors at a global level who is able to serve their societies and develop accurate specializations in the field of neurosurgery.

Dr. Abdul Majeed Qassem, Vice -Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, participated, in turn, he explained that the joint fellowship is a precedent step in specialized surgical training, highlighting that cooperation between the two universities provided training of many doctors from different countries, in a way that enhances the network of scientific cooperation and supports the university’s role in the service of research and medical practice.

In the same context, Dr. Ahmed Zuhdi pointed out that this joint program embodies the vision of Cairo University and the Palace of Al -Aini in building effective international partnerships, stressing that his success in graduating distinguished medical cadres from several countries that demonstrate the position of Al -Aini Palace as an educational and research edifice that has an extended impact that exceeds the borders of the country.

For his part, Dr. Ihab Al -Rifai, coordinator of the Memorandum of Understanding between the universities of Cairo and Gracevald and the supervisor of the training program, stressed that what is achieved reflects the fruit of a common effort and a mutual vision between the two universities, and that the graduation of this batch represents a human and scientific bridge that extends between Cairo and Gressvald to serve patients and develop medical education.

The ceremony was organized under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zuhdi, and Prof. Dr. Ihab Al -Rifai, and was attended by the Egyptian side, Mr. Mohamed Al -Abrak, the adviser to the Egyptian embassy in Berlin. Also, Professor Sameh Sorour, the cultural advisor to the Arab Republic of Egypt in Berlin, and Professor Dr. Marwa Al -Dali, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Sustainable Development.

It is noteworthy that the joint training fellowship program between the two universities has continued for five years, during which 92 doctors from multiple countries were trained, which reflects the success of the experiment and represents a model for international academic cooperation in the field of specialized medical education, while continuing to work to expand the horizons of this cooperation and develop new training programs that contribute to enhancing the status of Qasr Al -Aini as an educational and research lighthouse with a global dimension.
