The Education and Training Authority, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, organized a party to honor 22 government schools by granting it the golden quality seal, within the framework of the fifth session of the reviews, in the presence of Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa, CEO of the Authority, Professor Suha Saleh Hamada, Director General of School Affairs at the Ministry of Education, and a number of officials of the authority and the ministry, and representatives of the honorable public schools.
On this occasion, Dr. Maryam Hassan Mustafa, CEO of the Quality of Education and Training Authority, affirmed that education and training in the Kingdom of Bahrain constitute a basic pillar for achieving sustainable development, noting that the authority’s commitment to enhancing the culture of quality and excellence in various education institutions. She added that the commission’s initiatives, including the seal of the golden quality, embody the support and interest in the education sector in light of the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, affirming that the Kingdom is continuing with an ambitious vision towards the establishment of its position in adherence to the standards of excellence Academic and adopting the best pioneering practices in this field.
In turn, Professor Suha Saleh Hamada, Director General of Schools Affairs at the Ministry of Education, explained that the efforts of the Ministry of Education in improving the performance of public schools constitute one of the main goals of the educational policies that implement them, by applying best practices in the quality of education within comprehensive strategies aimed at developing educational outputs and providing a distinguished educational environment for students at various levels.
She indicated that the distinction achieved by government schools is the result of the Ministry’s efforts in cooperation with the Education and Training Authority, to improve the level of educational performance, promote innovation in government schools, and develop education and training methods, in a manner that ensures the provision of an advanced educational environment that achieves the best cognitive and skillful results for students, and supports educational competitiveness, in line with the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
It is worth noting that the quality seal system adopted by the Education and Training Authority gives the golden seal to schools that obtained a “excellent” rule, and the silver seal of schools that obtained a “good” rule, which contributes to motivating educational institutions to improve their performance and outputs, and enhance educational competitiveness in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The results of the fifth session of the reviews showed that 22 government schools and 7 private schools received the golden quality seal, while 21 government schools and 7 private schools obtained silver quality seal.
