Yesterday, Saturday, for the second day in a row, in Abu Dhabi, the Fifth Conference on brain diseases, with the participation of 450 doctors and experts in neurosurgery, continued, to confirm the event the emirate’s position as a leading medical destination and a global center for innovation and scientific research, to conclude its activities today, Sunday. The first day dealt with constituent sessions and workshops, one of which is the use of electrical brain planning (EEG) in the diagnosis of epilepsy, and another on epilepsy semiotics to understand clinical signs and link them to brain areas. General sessions dealt with the latest research in the prevention of the sister, Alzheimer’s management, developments in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, and the modern vision for treating muscle weakness
