The Bahraini Accountants Association announces the launch of the “Accounting Excellence Award” on October 1, 2025, as part of its continuous endeavor to advance the accounting profession and enhance its role in serving the national economy.
This national initiative comes to be a platform that celebrates promising competencies of students and graduates, and highlights their research contributions and applied projects that reflect their ability to combine academic knowledge and practical needs of institutions.
The award aims to consolidate the culture of excellence and innovation in accounting, encourage young people to engage in scientific research and produce value -added projects, as well as support the harmonization of educational curricula and the requirements of the labor market, and enhance the principles of ethics and professional transparency.
The award targets accounting students in undergraduate, master’s and doctorate programs at the universities of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to new graduates during the past two years.
The award focuses on accounting or auditing topics, or the latest developments in technological transformation and artificial intelligence in these areas.
The submission is done through a dedicated electronic platform, where the participants must submit an executive summary and research or an integrated project supported by the necessary data.
The award depends on a precise evaluation mechanism based on the dual arbitration system, where every research is evaluated by an academic arbitrator and another professional, to ensure the balance between scientific and methodological aspects on the one hand, and the applied effect, originality and creativity on the other hand.
After completing the initial screening process, the best twenty projects are chosen to qualify for the final show stage in front of a joint jury, to be chosen at the end of the first three winners.
The winners will receive valuable cash prizes, honorary shields, and certificates of appreciation, as well as highlighting their achievements through the national media and the official association’s platforms.
It is scheduled that the announcement of the results and honoring the winners will be held in November 2025, in the presence of an academic and professional that reflects the importance of the event and its role in developing the profession.
The Bahraini Accountants and Reviewers Association calls on all students and graduates who are qualified to participate effectively in this pioneering initiative, which translates the association’s vision in supporting young people and enabling them to contribute to the economic development process of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Universities and professional institutions also call for cooperation and participation in the success of this award, which is the first of its kind at the national level.
