A recent scientific study stated that the number of inmates in the brain, which is one of the most dangerous types of strokes, has increased globally by 40% since 1990, to about 700 thousand cases annually, despite medical progress in the areas of diagnosis and treatment.

The Center for Scientific Communication of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology stated that the increase is especially concentrated in low -income countries, as injuries increased by more than 100%, while death rates and disabilities related to the disease recorded about 50%.

The study showed that the most affected areas include Latin America, the Caribbean Sea, Oceania, parts of Asia and the Pacific, while Russia remains among the countries that record relatively high mortality rates.

The researchers attribute this increase to several factors, most notably the aging of the population, the high unpaid blood pressure rates and poor health awareness.

They emphasized that strengthening periodic examination programs and raising the level of awareness of the risks of high blood pressure can contribute to reducing infection rates.

Doctors stressed that bleeding in the brain is an urgent medical condition that requires immediate intervention, as it may lead to serious complications such as vascular cramping or fluid accumulation in the brain. Although medical progress has contributed to reducing death rates by more than half during the past three decades, the biggest challenge remains in improving nervous emergency services and ensuring health care access to all groups, especially the elderly.
