A number of residents on the Al -Marassi road in the city of Luxor managed, this evening, to arrest a forty -year -old man, claiming that he had harassed a girl inside a taxi.
The incident occurred on the Al -Marassi road .. and the accused in the grip of the police
Witnesses explained that the girl sought help from passengers and passers -by, which prompted the people to intervene quickly to besiege the accused and prevented him from escaping, until he was handed over to the police forces, who immediately arrived at the accident site.
Sources for Cairo 24 confirmed that the accused is being investigated in the editorial report of the incident, in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures against him.
Luxor Governorate is witnessing security intensification in such issues to deter any violations, while emphasizing the decisive dealing with the harassers in order to preserve the security and safety of citizens.
