Al -Salloum said on the sidelines of the meeting, “Artificial intelligence has become a pivotal pillar in the national plans of the Gulf states, as it represents a major tool for diversifying the economy and enhancing global competitiveness, in addition to its role in developing knowledge economies, attracting foreign investment, creating new jobs in the future areas, and that the strategies and visions of our countries such as Saudi Vision 2030, Emirates Vision 2071, Bahrain Vision 2030, Qatar Vision 2030, and Oman vision 2040, puts artificial intelligence at the heart of sustainable development. “

He pointed out that the countries of the Cooperation Council are witnessing extensive applications for artificial intelligence in smart aid, computer vision, machine learning, robotics, self -driving cars, smart education, arts and creativity, as major projects such as the city of NEOM in Saudi Arabia, which depends in their development, have emerged on smart city systems, as well as the UAE application for artificial intelligence solutions in providing government services, in addition to the growing use of technologies in Health, transportation and infrastructure fields, stressing that the Gulf states have strategic advantages that make them able to lead this transformation, by saying: “We have advanced national strategies, huge investments in digital infrastructure, and a promising market for artificial intelligence applications, as well as programs directed to build human capabilities, along with a strategic geographical location that prepares us to be a global center For digital services. “

On the other hand, Al -Salloum stressed that the integration between the GCC countries requires practical steps to overcome challenges, indicating that it has become necessary to proceed more in unifying legislation and harmonizing the laws and procedures in a way that facilitates the establishment of business and investments, and contributes to enhancing confidence between investors and users, noting that the proposal that the study made in this regard, which is to establish a Gulf fund to achieve integration can constitute an important tool to support projects Infrastructure and joint strategic investments.

The MP Al -Salloum explained that the meeting touched on the importance of the social and cultural aspects that were discussed in the meeting, stressing that among the urgent issues that are also worth treatment the phenomenon of exhibition consumption in our Gulf societies, especially since this type of exaggerated spending on luxuries and social aspects carries the economy and society is unjustified burdens, and violates the values ​​of our true religion calling for moderation and balance, so confronting it requires awareness Socially and Gulf cooperation to reduce this phenomenon.
