I was honored to meet the invitation of the Arab Gulf University to attend the intellectual symposium organized by the university in cooperation with the Saudi embassy and the circle of Muhammad Jaber Al -Ansari, to celebrate the contributions of the Bahraini Arab thinker, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jaber Al -Ansari, intellectual and academic.
In a time when the steps are accelerated towards the future, and the pages of thought are folded without reading, loyalty to the great thinkers remains a form of human nobility, and a destination of the faces of righteousness that transcends the ordinary, and is superior to transient gratitude.
In my intervention, which was the latter in the symposium, Professor Hala Al -Ansari, Advisor to His Majesty the King of Cultural and Scientific Affairs, thanked this righteousness to the memory and thought of Dr. Al -Ansari through the “circuit”, not to be just a museum of memories, but to become a vivid space of thought, a platform for dialogue, and a bridge between the past and the future.
As we bless this noble initiative, I aspire to extend this righteousness to take more established institutional forms, preserving Al -Ansari’s thought and giving him a new life in the minds of future generations.
Since Dr. Al -Ansari was the professor of studies of Islamic civilization and contemporary thought, and the dean of the College of Graduate Studies at the Arab Gulf University, here I repeat the proposal I submitted at the symposium to the university by creating the “Chair of Muhammad Jaber Al -Ansari for Scientific Research”, which is an incubator for intellectual, civilizational and political studies, and a platform for the reflection of researchers on renaissance, transformation, and identity issues.
It was also re -proposed the university’s launch of the “Muhammad Jaber Al -Ansari Scholarship for Graduate Studies” as another step in the way of loyalty, giving young researchers the opportunity to delve into contemporary Arab thought, and open doors to them to understand the civilized self, away from the noise of the moment.
In order for Al -Ansari’s thought not to remain trapped, cooperation with the “Studies” center to analyze his intellectual production, dismantle his theses, and re -read them in the light of the current transformations, will be a renewed revival of an unwilling thought, but rather who wakes up his roots.
We also do not forget the role of the Issa Cultural Center with which the “circuit” can cooperate in presenting the intellectual production of Dr. Al -Ansari Al -Muqroudi and Al -Video, in addition to the possibility of discussing this thought through a special cultural forum, and announcing the “Arab” award in the name of Al -Ansari in the civilizational and political sciences and sociology.
I also suggested in my intervention on Professor Hala, the “Al -Darat” cooperation with the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, as it is possible to immortalize the name of Dr. Al -Ansari by launching “the diploma of Muhammad Jaber Al -Ansari in political science”, to be an academic program that reflects his vision in reform, and invokes his method of criticism, and instills in the learners the spirit of question, not contentment.
Righteousness with thinkers is not a luxury, but rather a civilized duty, moral responsibility, and fulfillment of collective memory. And Dr. Muhammad Jaber Al -Ansari, with the impact he left, deserves to be honored, not with a silent statue, but rather with speaking institutions, immortalizing his thought, reviving his message, and generations teach that thought does not die, as long as there is someone who justifies his family.
Let the righteousness of Al -Ansari be the beginning of a new culture, justice to thinkers, and give them what they deserve from eternity.
