US President Donald Trump expressed his disappointment in the relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, stressing that the war in Ukraine was more complicated than he initially believed, and Trump indicated that he believed that ending the conflict would be easy, but the events on the ground were more difficult. This is according to press statements.
Trump said during his remarks: I thought my relationship with President Putin would be very useful and that we will be able to find a quick solution to the conflict in Ukraine, but unfortunately, the Russian president failed me.
Regarding the Israeli -Palestinian conflict, Trump described the issue as “complicated” but expressed his confidence in the United States’s ability to deal with it effectively.
He added: The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is not a simple matter, but we are making great efforts to reach a sustainable solution, just as we work to find a solution in Ukraine.
The United States sold large quantities of weapons to NATO countries
Regarding the war in Ukraine, Trump praised the efforts made by the United States to support its allies, and stressed that the United States has sold large quantities of weapons to NATO countries and contributed 350 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine, and said: We have provided tremendous support to Ukraine, and we believe that this support is essential to stabilizing the region.
