Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, said that production in the back field has returned to its normal rates, stressing that the state is constantly following the performance of the strategic fields to ensure the stability of supplies.

Madbouly added, during his meeting with newspaper editing heads today, that the oil and gas fields reach at one time to the end point, which requires the expansion of research and exploration projects and diversification of energy sources to ensure the sustainability of production.
In the same context, Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, affirmed, earlier, the continuation of the production improvement program from the Dhahr field in cooperation with the investment partners within the first axis of the ministry’s strategy.
He explained, that the well placed the well on production contributed to the addition of about 65 million cubic feet of gas per day, with efforts continued to dig new wells in the field, stressing that the back field is an integral part of every house in Egypt for its role in securing an important aspect of the needs of the local market of natural gas.
