Each of the “Our Yetna” and “Qatar National Dialogue on Climate Change” conference is two pioneering platforms designed to face the most urgent environmental challenges in today’s world. These activities are held in the Qatari capital, Doha, and attract leaders and experts from around the world, with the aim of enhancing dialogue and creating sustainable solutions, especially those that suit hot and dry climates, which face environmental pressure And increasing economy.
The Introduction Center, which was established under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation, is a major focus in this endeavor. It is not just a research center, but rather an intellectual platform that combines traditional knowledge with modern technological innovation. The last “our legacy” summit, which was held in April of this year in the village of our legacy in Doha, embodied this concept in a practical way, as global leaders and experts from various sectors gathered to discuss vital issues such as water and food security, sustainable urban planning, and clean energy, in addition to green financing. The summit is based on the slogan “Building our legacy: sustainability, innovation, and traditional knowledge”, which confirms the importance of inspiring solutions from the past to meet the challenges of the future, while integrating modern and digital methods to ensure higher efficiency in the application of sustainable projects.
In parallel, the Qatar National Dialogue on the change of climate and scheduled to be held in its next version in October this year to enhance the local dimension and focus on coordination between the various regional bodies. It is organized by the Qatari Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in cooperation with our legacy center, and it is considered a platform for exchanging experiences and developing practical strategies to meet the effects of climate change, such as adapting to high temperatures, water resources management, and improving infrastructure to meet future climate challenges. The last version of the dialogue has discussed important topics related to environmental adaptation solutions, encouraging innovation in the field of clean energy, and using technology to enhance the resilience of cities and urban environments.
