An official source revealed In the Customs Authority The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority sent its confirmation to the customs department regarding granting an exemption to dual citizenship owners, which is Egyptian and holds the nationality of another country, from the fees for entering the new phone to Egypt.

The source said in a statement to Cairo 24, that the Telecom Regulatory Authority confirmed that the exemption from the scheduled customs duties will be for Egyptians only who carry an Egyptian Passport, and the exemption is on only one phone.
He explained that foreigners are granted to them only 3 months inside Egypt, and in the event of an increase in the extent of residence, the customs duties prescribed on the mobile phone are applied.
He stressed that the dual nationality that does not hold an Egyptian Passport to be an Egyptian and holds Passpur, a foreign country that is not exempt from the customs duties prescribed on the mobile phone and treats the treatment of foreigners.
