His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, received Jin Fraser, CEO of the City Group Group, in the presence of a number of officials in the City Group Group and the Economic Development Council.
During the meeting, His Highness praised the strategic role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the fields of energy and financial services at the regional level, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness to explore a variety of financial solutions in partnership with the City Group Group, including structured financing, risk management solutions, and solutions specifically designed to support national projects and extensive regional initiatives.
His Highness expressed his pride in establishing and expanding the World Bank Technology Center of City in Bahrain, which strengthened the Kingdom’s position as a strategic and flexible center for talent and innovation, and established its leadership role at the level of the Middle East region, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain is distinguished by a prestigious global reputation as a vibrant economic center in the financial and banking sector, which is witnessing continuous development and development, in line with Bahrain’s economic vision 2030, in light of the pioneering role played by this sector in achieving sustainable growth and diversification of income sources.
His Highness welcomed City’s long -term commitment to the Kingdom of Bahrain as an investment destination, praising the heritage of the bank that extends for more than five decades, which contributed to the development of the financial services system in the Kingdom, and enabled sustainable growth across various sectors.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa discussed with Jin Fraser ways to enhance strategic partnerships in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom of Bahrain to consolidate its position as a center for digital transformation and energy, innovation in the field of talent, excellence in financial services, in addition to enhancing interdependence inside and outside, and the meeting also witnessed the emphasis on the strength of Bahraini competencies and the diversity of the human capital base, and the role of competencies in advancing the innovation wheel Capacity building, support for the energy sectors and financial services.
