His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain established a pioneering humanitarian approach at the local and international levels, by extending a helping hand to all beneficiaries of humanitarian support programs under the auspices and interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, the honorary president of the Royal Foundation Humanity, and with the ongoing follow -up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, which made the Kingdom appreciate and respect in various international forums.
On the occasion of the International Day of Charitable Work, which falls on the fifth of September of each year, His Highness said that this day represents an opportunity to appreciate everyone who devotes his life to serving others, and continues to do good in the most difficult circumstances, believing in the values of humanitarian giving and social solidarity, and seeks to play a prominent role in supporting sustainable development and preserving human dignity.
His Highness added that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, as the national umbrella of charitable work, is keen to implement its noble mission efficiently and distinguished through comprehensive care and empowerment of orphans, widows and beneficiary groups, as well as implementing development initiatives and urgent relief projects, in line with the values of true religion, human duty and the national message.
His Highness continued, “Charitable work is not a passing occasion, but rather a life approach that we are keen to consolidate in our generations, in a way that establishes Bahrain’s pioneering position in good work and service of humanity worldwide.”
His Highness called on all workers in the field of charitable work to be the best ambassadors for Bahrain, and an example in their work, in an embodiment of the sublime humanitarian message that the Kingdom is proud of.
