Sean Duffy, Acting Director of the American Space Agency, revealed that NASA is seeking to build a complete village on the moon by 2035.
Duffy revealed the “NASA” plans in the next decade, during its appearance, along with the heads of international space agencies, in a session at the International Aviation Conference “IIC” organized in Sidni, Australia between September 29 and October 3.
“We will establish a sustainable human life on the surface of the moon, it will not be just a station but a village,” Davi said during the session, according to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”.
He explained during his speech at the conference, which was devoted to discussing the topic “Sustainable Space: Flexible Land”, that “NASA” can establish and maintain a human life on the moon.
Davi’s statements were not limited to exploring the moon, but also included plans to explore Mars.
“NASA will make great leaps in its mission to reach Mars,” Davi said, expecting that the United States will be the first to reach Mars.
Next February, NASA will send four astronauts as part of the “Artemis-2” mission, as the first lunar trip in more than 50 years.
NASA plans to build a long -term base on the moon, and a nuclear energy base is expected to be built using materials on the moon, to provide shelter for astronauts.
The agency also plans to send the “Artemis-3” mission by mid 207, in order to land two astronauts near the southern pole of the moon, on a seven-day mission.
The aim of these missions will be to collect geological data, and to study the conditions surrounding the southern pole, in order to build a permanent base on the moon.
