The Council of Muslim Elderly, headed by His Excellency the Grand Imam, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, affirmed that the International Day of Charitable Action represents an important annual station to confirm the role of charitable work in enhancing the values of global solidarity and human solidarity, at a time when humanitarian crises are exacerbated as a result of the crises, wars, conflicts, natural disasters and the implications of climate change.
