The Meteorological Authority announced its forecast for the weather during the period from Monday, September 22 to Friday, September 26, 2025, noting that the country will witness a moderate atmosphere in the early morning, turning into a lane and wet day in the north of the country to Greater Cairo, North Upper Egypt and South Sinai, while it remains very hot in the south of Upper Egypt, and it tends to heat and humidity at the beginning of the night with its moderation at the end.

The authority explained that the dense waterbed will consist daily from 4 to 8 am on some roads leading to and from the northern coasts, sea face, Greater Cairo, the cities of the canal, northern Upper Egypt and central Sinai, which may limit the horizontal visibility, and low clouds appear on areas from the northern coasts to Greater Cairo and the cities of the channel, while increasing the humidity rates contribute to raising the temperature sensation from the values announced by about 2 to 4 degrees.
The authority added that the wind activity in most parts helps to soften the atmosphere, especially at night periods.
With regard to the expected maximum temperatures, the Meteorological Authority indicates that Cairo and Lower Egypt will record about 35 degrees Celsius, while the Great on the northern coasts ranges between 28 and 31 degrees. As for the north of Upper Egypt, it records between 35 and 37 degrees, and it reaches in the south of Upper Egypt to 38 and 40 degrees Celsius during the peak of the week.
The authority stressed the need to be careful while driving in the early morning due to the waterbed, and to follow the necessary instructions, especially in highways, while continuing to follow up on the daily updates issued by the authority in anticipation of any sudden changes in weather conditions.
