It was not hours since the statements of Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski, in which he saw that Russian officials should “hide in the nearest shelter”, if the war did not stop, until the response came from the Vice President of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev.
Medvedev stressed in a post on his account on the “X” platform on Thursday that what Zellinski needs to know “is that Russia is able to use weapons that are not protected from even shelters.”
He added that “the Americans also have to take this into account.”
A single request
This came after Zellinski revealed earlier today that he had submitted a single request to his American counterpart Donald Trump, when they met last Tuesday, on the sidelines of the United Nations meetings in New York, Russian President Vladimir Putin will be forced to sit at the negotiating table, in reference to new advanced weapons.
The Ukrainian President stressed that his country has explicit support from Trump to strike Russian targets such as energy infrastructure and arms factories, according to the “Axios” website.
“The nearest shelter”
Zelinski said that Russian officials should hide in the nearest shelter, if the war does not stop, saying: “They should know the places of shelters, because they will need them, if they do not stop the war.”
In addition, it hinted at the possibility of hitting Russian power centers, such as the Kremlin. He pointed out that he had received a clear support from Trump, to respond similarly to any Russian attacks.
Medvedev has always been known for his sill tongue, especially towards Ukraine. Over the past two years, Zellinski criticized in strong terms, describing him more than once as “rude and drug addict”, as well as the weak and the legitimacy.
