On Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron warned Israel against the implementation of any attack or attempt to include lands, stressing that such practices will not stand an obstacle to recognition of the State of Palestine.
“There will be no attack, an attempt to annex or displacement of the momentum of the momentum that we launched with the crown prince and joined many partners,” he said, referring to a discussion he had with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Macron also criticized the United States’ decision not to grant visas to Palestinian officials to attend the United Nations General Assembly, saying that it is “unacceptable … We call for a retreat from this procedure and allow a Palestinian representation in line with the headquarters agreement.”
