The price of the US dollar scored a stability against the Egyptian pound in the morning transactions in banks operating in the banking sector, today, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, after yesterday decreased below the level of 48 pounds for purchase for the first time in months, driven by the improvement of foreign exchange flows and the stability of the conditions in the exchange market.
Dollar prices in the most prominent Egyptian banks:
Alexandria banks, HSBC, SAIB, Kuwait National, the dollar price for the pound was recorded about 47.98 pounds for purchase, and to sell about 48.08 pounds.
The National Bank of Egypt, Credit Agricole, Abu Dhabi I, the price of the dollar against the pound recorded about 47.96 pounds for purchase, and for sale: 48.06 pounds.

- Buy: 47.95 pounds

Faisal Islamic Bank, Qatar National Bank QNB:
- Buy: 47.94 pounds

The net foreign exchange reserves had increased by more than 2.5 billion dollars, from the end of July 2024 until the end of July 2025, with an abundance of foreign exchange, amid firm measures taken by the Central Bank of Egypt.
